Controlling Spam with Flash? 7 May 2005

My friend, Jon Greene, has the most amazing blog. He built it before he had been exposed to the blogging community of the web. He had no pre-conceived notions of how a blog should function or work. Therefore, when he set out to build the blog software from scratch, he came up with a really novel approach.

His blog allows you to comment on article while both registered and unregisterd. If you are registered, you can also write your own article and create your own thread.

The really fun thing about this blog is that all the forms (registration, login, and commenting) are done in flash. Therefore, spammers will have to become that much more sophisticated before they will be able to start logging spam comments at Jon’s site.
