So, while the “web elite” are busy lining up for their panels and talks down in Austin, TX, those of us in the trenches grind on. I have a new “of interest” entry for the cakePHP & internationalization communities, but I keep getting sidetracked, so I have not yet finished it. I’m also working on 3 projects concurrently for visicswire.
Of those projects I can’t provide a link for one because there are no links to yet provide. The other two are neither glamorous nor items which I should speak of until they are launched.
I’m excited for Chicago 2016. That would be the year the olympics may be held in my hometown. I really want to get in on that thing and start selling development services to organizations that might need said services so that they can enhance their business in relation to that major event. Many not-for-profits should be thinking about how they can take advantage of such a huge event. I know that one already is. (Watch visitbronzeville.com for a new site in the coming months.)

Keep on grindin’ on! It is cool that you are already looking toward 2016. I hope Chicago gets the games here. LA is too smoggy, and they already had there go with the Olympics.
I would love to work on some Olympic related projects!
