I started reworking the design of my site recently, if you hadn’t already noticed. I wanted to go for a lighter feel as well as make it more “magazine” or “media” feeling. Comments received from Josh indicate I have at least gotten partially there. You’ll also notice I’m changing the brand just a little.
I also decided I would take a stab at integrating Google advertising into my site. I’ve never found reason to use it, but after having seen how it worked out on Digital Web I decided to give it a chance. I am aware I’m in a totally different (maybe?) market and my readership numbers are quite different, but we’ll see what happens.

I actually started using that banner font for a redesign mockup of my site the other day – spooky.
