I bought this domain, gatherJobs.com, quite some time ago. I had illusions of putting up a job aggregation site. This never quite happened.
Well, after I noticed that a ton of the domains I own were being used as moneymaking landing pages by GoDaddy, I decided to repark my domains. In the process I thought that maybe I should take the same tack. So now, gatherJobs.com is aggregating jobs from a few different segments.
I just wanted to get something up quickly. I think I’ll put some work into it next year, early-on, and try to develop some sort of actual application, rather than a display only listing site.
Joshua Minnich created the logo, designed the site, and coded the HTML and CSS. Together we got the thing up and running as quickly as possible using Textpattern and a slightly modified version of bit_rss.
