Sorry, but I got around to posting this one a little (a lot) late:
I just returned from Seattle, having spent an entire week enjoying the city. It was an amazing opportunity and I got to hang out and meet so many cool people.
I was invited to speak at Refresh Seattle by Nick Finck, the guy behind Digital Web Magazine and one-third of Blue Flavor. Luckily, Nick was also willing to put up with me stumbling around his house at late hours and crashing on his floor for an entire week!
While I was at Refresh, I met the very cool Geoffrey Grosenbach. Geoffrey’s the guy behind PeepCode.
Never having been to Seattle, I treated this as a working vacation, while seeing the tourist attractions, I still managed to get some work done.
I met several of the Digital Web Crew and downed brews after Refresh Seattle with guys working for Adobe, small companies, and as independent contractors. I had an amazing meal served by Bob Boiko while his Son, Nick Finck, Vivian Bliss Mike Crandall, and Lou Rosenfeld chatted through the evening.
